Alberta Beef Producers is currently undergoing a review of its Plan Regulation, Cattle Marketing Regulation and its Authorization Regulation. We are completing Phase I and results of the fall producer consultations and the feedback from the five regional meetings have been compiled into the reports below.

Based on the results of the consultation a discussion paper has been prepared for the debate by the ABP delegates at the Semi-Annual meeting on June 10, 2008 at 1 pm. A copy of the delegate’s debate discussion paper can be downloaded by clicking on the link below.

Plan Review Debate Power Point
The delegate debate at the Semi-Annual meeting on June 11 will be hosted live online at www.wlex.ca. This broadcast is open to anyone who wishes to watch the debate.
You may log on to the Western Livestock Exchange website and register (at no cost) at any time before the debate at www.wlex.ca. Then, beginning at 1 pm, June 10th, the debate will come live to you in your home or office. You can log-on at anytime during the debate to watch. Live filming will begin approximately two-hours before the debate to allow viewers a time-frame to make sure their computers are ready to watch.
