ABP Role

Alberta Beef Producers is a grassroots, producer-run organization that represents all sectors of Alberta’s beef industry on various levels. The non-profit marketing commission is funded by a three dollar per-a-head check-off levy that is collected on cattle sold in Alberta. ABP acts as a united voice for Alberta producers to deal with issues in government policy, animal welfare, the environment, research, producer communication, and consumer promotion.
