Alberta Beef Producers (ABP), along with Alberta Grazing Leasholders Association and Western Stock Growers’ Association, wrote to the Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, to express concerns over Bill C-355, An Act to prohibit the export by air of horses for slaughter and to make related amendments to certain Acts.
