Adjustments to hunting seasons or methodologies

Whereas
- Drought has increased the amount of Wildlife pressure that producers are having to contend with. Producers are having to deal with excessive amounts of deer and Elk eating and defecating on stockpiled feed which increases winter grazing costs.
- Wildlife have adapted and migrated to areas that are non-hunting zones and/or certain small acreage landowners do not allow hunters.
Be it Resolved
That ABP petition the Alberta Government to extend ABP by-law 11.8 to allow landowners alternative seasons or methodology to cull wildlife on pasture for winter grazing, swath grazing, and haystack yards outside of the already posted hunting seasons and during non daylight hours.
