There is increasing demands for rental lands to locate solar installations, with little regard for decommission or discontinued use.
Be it Resolved
That ABP communicate the risks for entering into these solar installation agreements to concerned stakeholders.
March 2024 Update:
Alberta Beef Producers struck a working group on renewables with other affected stakeholders. ABP also published an article by freelancer Bruce Derksen on ABP Daily to help communicate some of the risks of solar installation agreements to cattle producers.
