- Grassland Conservation is important
- Government injection of $700 to 800M into conservation projects may have significant risks and unintended consequences, such as but not limited to land value inflation, government and/or NGO oversight, and land use limitations.
- The communication around the grassland initiative is unclear, indecisive and producers are left with serious questions.
Be it Resolved
That ABP as a member of CCA, align with other member organizations and industry stakeholders to have CCA park the Grassland initiative until such time that a clear and concise strategy can be communicated to the member organizations.
