In 2023, ABP’s Board of Directors welcomed Western Stock Growers’ Association (WSGA), Alberta Grazing Leaseholders Association (AGLA), Alberta Auction Markets Association (AAMA), Feeder Associations of Alberta (FAA), and Alberta Veterinary Medical Association (ABVMA) to join in a similar arrangement that it already had with Alberta Cattle Feeders’ Association (ACFA). Representatives from each organization are welcome to join Board Meetings as non-voting guests. This has helped ABP gain valuable insights into various issues affecting the industry and fostered a positive environment for collaboration on topics like the grasslands, and live horse export.
