Kirk Wildman

Kirk Wildman’s family homesteaded in Alberta in 1887. The current operation, in the Sangudo area, has been in operation since 1974, raising purebred Red Angus and Black Angus cattle.

Kirk has served on the Canadian Angus Association, Canadian Red Angus Promotion Society, Canadian Angus Foundation, and the Mayerthorpe Area Community Foundation. He also served as a producer member of the Lac Ste Anne County Ag Service Board, and currently sits as a Director on the local Natural Gas Co-Op Board.

He is passionate and well-versed in policy governance, and feels strong governance is an important key to ABP’s success. Kirk looks forward to helping the industry move forward as a delegate with Alberta Beef Producers.
